A lot happened right after last blog. I went to a job interview which I absolutely beefed, but it taught me some stuff. I sold my '91 Geo Metro right before going to do that, which I have mixed feelings about. It would have required a lot of work, seeing as it couldn't get into 5th gear and was crunchy regardless. My brother wanted to work on it and make it his daily, but it is what it is.
Those are the worst things to happen this time, but whatever. I'm over it. I have been gaming, on that Risk of Rain 2 grind. Just last night I unlocked the alternate secondary ability for Loader. Also been playing some Rainworld over Parsec, and just went and bought the game. As far as tabletop, just finished up another session of the Warhammer 40k game, and have another session of detective gaming tomorrow. I joined it a session late last week.
Another grind I've been on is the music grind! I'm still looking for and consuming audiovisuals from bands, mostly new but a few old, that I'm really digging. Imposition Man, AUS, Current Affairs, and Ill Globo are the highlights. I've made a Bandcamp account so I can keep up with these bands, and I'm glad to be able to do that.
Haven't done much thrifting recently, just one trip. Found a gem, though, in the form of a Dreamcast Web Browser 2.0 disc. Also some VHSes that I'll get on the site eventually. Not from a thrift store, but I received a real nice, genuine, CCM jersey. Pictures on the clothes page. I actually had it last blog, but wanted to get pictures of it before I talked about it.
I've been trying to keep up my workout routine every other day. My left bicep is pitifully weak, and I'm having pains in the small of my back, but I'm mostly managing. Also driving twice a week for the most part in preparation for getting my license.
The thing that's on my mind most right now is the fact I'm going to be on a plane going to Texas in a little under a week. I will be able to update the site from over there. I'm going to see a friend, and you may be able to guess which one.
Okay, that's it for now. See you next time in "The Big State".
